Activision has confirmed that the next Call of Duty will debut (not released) on May 1st 2012, with the official world reveal to be made during the US basketball playoffs on TV channel TNT. According to CVG, it is highly likely to be Black Ops 2 from Treyarch.
The release date is rumoured to be November 13th, the day that an eclipse is to happen, and may also be the name of the new game Call of Duty: Eclipse
CVG have also added some unverified details for the multiplayer part of the game.
There may also be other hints, seven in total, as to what to expect over the week prior to the announcement starting tomorrow 24th April thru to April 30th
