One of Facebook’s top employees has quite the Social giant for Pinterest.
Don Faul, who was the vice-president of online operations at Facebook, is now heading to Pinterest to become their head of operations. Faul started with Facebook in 2008 after leaving Google. Chief operating officer of Facebook, Sheryl Sandberg, described Don Faul as one of her brightest stars.
The news comes as a further blow to the social network behemoth, as not only is this the third Facebook employee to jump ship to Pinterest in recent months, but Facebook’s infamous IPO is continuing to fail predictions. When Mark Zuckerberg first debuted on May 18th, its shares were initially priced at $38, however, due to technical glitches on the Nasdaq exchange and charges that Facebook’s lead underwriter, Morgan Stanley, mishandled the pricing, its prices have continuously fallen. They presently stand at $28.82 at close of last business.
